Our Services...

Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Investment Management

1. Financial Planning

OPTIMIZING YOUR DOLLAR

People frequently ask themselves “When can I retire?” or “How much do I need?”. We approach this from a holistic point of view and address items such as insurance needs, cash flow analysis, debt/cash management, budgeting, purchasing a home, cost benefit analysis, college planning, etc. We want you to have a wealthy lifestyle allowing you to enjoy your life however you choose.

One on One Conversations

We ask questions and hold discussions to reveal your thought process, goals, and objectives.

Customized Financial Plan Tailored to your Specific Needs

Everyone is unique. Our job is to understand the differences and create a plan that fits you.

Collaboration with Other Professionals

We work with other professional disciplines (CPAs, attorneys, insurance agents, bankers, etc.), who value integrity and ethics as much as we do, to provide you a cohesive and comprehensive service.

Annual Review

In today’s fast-paced world, your life can turn on a dime. A personalized annual review reflects such changes to ensure you are continuing your path to success.

Ongoing Communication and Education

We are your sounding board. If a financial concern arises, contact us. That is what we are here for.

2. Estate Planning

PROTECTING YOUR DOLLAR

A key piece of our partnership is ensuring your assets will be protected and your wishes carried out during your lifetime and beyond. Our approach is partnered with the collective efforts of a respected attorney to comb through the intricacies of your family dynamics. Estate planning is a vital exercise in creating an effective wealth management plan.

Separate Discussion Focusing on Estate Planning

We believe estate planning is essential to your overall financial plan, and want to ensure this planning isn’t overlooked. We meet with you to review estate planning techniques and how to align your estate plan with your financial plan.

Review Current Estate Planning Documents

Many clients we meet have their legal planning complete, however laws may have changed as well as their goals and objectives. We review your documents in conjunction with an estate planning attorney to make sure they reflect your current wishes and desires.

Preparation for Attorney Meeting

The technical details of estate planning can make it challenging to effectively communicate your desires. We meet with you to give you background information and help organize and prepare you for your attorney meeting.

Accompany you to Attorney Meeting

We can accompany you to the attorney meeting giving you the comfort in having an advocate, and ensuring your wishes are clearly articulated.

Family Meeting

Estate planning is an involved process that includes family members and loved ones which can be difficult to discuss. We work with you to facilitate a meeting with your beneficiaries and share information regarding your estate plan in whatever manner best meets your needs.

Transfer of Wealth

We assist you in transferring your assets effectively and efficiently during and after your lifetime. In addition, we can provide support to you if you are currently acting in a trustee role to gather assets and transfer them in effective and efficient manner.

Facilitation of the Execution of Legal Documents

To save you time and money, we assist you in the signing of legal instruments and the retitling of assets and beneficiary designation process.

Biennial Review

Life changes occur more frequently then we prefer. Reviewing your estate plan every two years provides you the peace of mind your wishes are on track to be fulfilled.

Ongoing Communication and Education

Estate planning techniques and regulations change as the year’s progress. We communicate these changes to you as they arise and the impacts they may have on your plan.

3. Investment Management

GROWING YOUR DOLLAR

We take a business owner’s approach when selecting a company’s stock - it is not a piece of paper to trade, but is a piece of business we now own. What does this mean for you?

Value Investing Framework

We follow a sound and rational framework, taken from the teachings of Benjamin Graham, David Dodd, and Warren Buffett.

Risk Management

To quote Warren Buffett “The first rule is not to lose. The second rule is not to forget the first rule.” Our philosophy is built on adding a buffer to a company’s value versus the price we pay to help mitigate investment risk.

Bottom-Up Research

Employing bottom-up research centers our focus on individual company dynamics. We search for companies with strong business models, management teams, and balance sheets allowing for a higher level of predictability in the companies’ future cash flows.

Customized Managed Accounts

We assess your risk tolerance and goals, managing your account specifically for you, providing you peace of mind.

Outside Asset Analysis

If you have assets such as a 401(k), stock option plan, or investments with another advisor, we will assess those positions and help you better understand how best to allocate them.

Ongoing Communication and Education

Our advisors will provide you with ongoing communication so you know where your accounts stand and the reasons for why we are invested in certain investment securities.
