PERFORMANCE TO REMEMBER

RENEE ALQUIZA, GUARD/FORWARD, FR., CORNELIUS, N.C.

Alquiza recorded double-digit points in both games this week with 15 points and seven rebounds in the overtime loss to Eastern Mennonite. She followed that performance with 16 points and four rebounds against the Marlins.

PERFORMANCE TO REMEMBER

JOSH FREUND, SR., CENTER, CHARLOTTE, N.C.

Freund registered two 20+ point games this week as the Maroons fell to W&L before beating Bridgewater on the road. Freund tallied 27 points and 16 rebounds against the Generals followed by 24 points and seven rebounds against the Eagles. This marks the eighth game this season were he has tallied over 20 points in a contest.

NOTEWORTHY NUMBERS

Roanoke Assistant Athletic Director and Cregger Center Director John Farmer was named a recipient of the College's 2018 STAR Award. The Service to All Roanoke (STAR) Awards are given out each holiday season to the employees who go above and beyond the call of their duties and have a positive impact on Roanoke College and its community.

Tracy Lively, a administrative assistant in the President's office, and Dale Nuff, the dining room coordinator in Commons, were also recipients of the 2018 STAR Award.
