Proof 3D INTERNATIONAL WORK

Using 3D renderings elevates our work. From packaging to displays to environments—using this technology to showcase the work lets our ideas shine and gives them the professional finish they deserve.

Over the past 3 years Verena and I have been working with 3 different professional 3D Freelance designers in the UK. This presentation will show you the work and give an idea of costs and lead-times.

Working with Brian and his team, the goal is to get to a definitive rate card system so we can accurately build this service into our project estimates and timelines.

JIM BEAM FRACTIONALS

Brief: International Marketing need to build sell sheets, key visuals and product imagery to support the launch of new fractional sizes. No actual product was in existence for the new sizes with the new packaging. Build 4 sizes: 5cl , 20cl , 35cl and 50cl as front on packshots. Create a lifestyle arrangement of all the sizes on the Jim Beam White in-situ barrel image. This is to be used as a key visual.

SUMMARY

Across these 3 designers we have hi res wire frame bottles built for: Jim Beam Core and Core Plus. Jim Beam White fractionals. Laphroaig Clear and Green bottles in 70/75cl and 37.5cl sizes. We also have basic wireframe models built for Signature Craft, Knob Creek, Maker's Mark, Maker's Cask Strength, Hibiki, Yamazaki, Hakushu & VS.

Based on this the costs to re-wrap these bottles will be very reasonable as the textures and lighting already exist.

Based on Proof building an in-house solution for 3D and these freelancer being independent we have started to treat estimations based on hours vs a fixed third party cost. This gives us flexibility to use internal and external talent but also goes against our number for the year vs OOP.
