FROM ZERO TO HERO— A Win-Win For Qin ChristiAn Monovoukas

  • Firstly, when Qin decided to have the Great Wall built, he knew it would protect his people from foreign invaders, or attackers. In theory, Qin was clearly driven to do this to keep his people safe. Which is obviously a good thing.
  • Second, Qin made the effective action of standardizing measurement and currency, which is a good action because he wants people to be safe, and not pay more than needed.
  • Lastly, Qin chose to create a harsh punishment system which was made up of strict rules, and if those were broken, and people committed crimes, they would learn their lesson with a punishment. This helps China in the sense that there would be less violence, crime, and suffering.
