Schilletter Dining Hall: Service Keshawn orr/ENGL130/Research Proposal

"Schilletter Dining Hall is located in east campus in Bryan Mall, adjacent to the residence halls. This dining location features stations with display-style cooking, made-to-order entrées, a salad bar, and much more. With recent renovations, the décor features aesthetically pleasing seating coupled with lighting to create a variety of areas with their own eclectic atmospheres. There is even a fireplace with cozy seating for studying and meetings."

Problem? Schilletter is not the ideal dining hall of most students here at Clemson. Most people would describe it as "trash". Is this because of the services?

Why does Clemson University allow people with mental disabilities to work in the Dining Halls on campus? The Answer is: ClemsonLIFE

Clemson Life(Learning is for Everyone) is a program that takes individuals with mental disabilities and helps them develop life skills that allow them to work in the real world......

The ClemsonLIFE program has been around since 2008 simply because people here at Clemson don't believe that intellectual disabilities should not be a wall that keeps people of this kind from being able to participate in the world we live in.

Do we still think this is a problem? If so, do we still want to change it?
