Dwight L. Moody presented By Zachary Washnock

Dwight L. Moody was born on Feb. 5 1837 in east Northfield Massachusetts. His father died when he was only four years old, his mom's name was Betsey and had eight siblings. His mom did not enforce him to read the Bible much, also he had education up to the fifth grade.
When he grew up he sold shoes, married Emma C. Revell and had three children.
What sparked his passion for serving others was when someone ask him to serve and he said that he would
He worked with the Bible-work Institute of the Chicago Evangelist Society - which was a Bible school movement and the corporate association- horse-drawn" Gospel Wagons" selling low cost Bible. Which lead many people to begin reading the Bible.
Dwight L. Moody, " We are all told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't tell anybody it does. Lighthouses don't fire canons to call attention to their shins - they just shine.
Some interesting extra facts about him are that he led millions of people to Christ. Also he founded the moody institute in Chicago, and he worked some overseas.
