Who homer ?

Homer is a man who was famous for his poem “The Liliad of the odyssey”He was born in 800 BCE in Greece. Homer wrote about his life and emotions. His two poems got known road maps in the world in the myths. They say his life was a mystery and always will be.

The narrator of the Odyssey invokes the Muse, asking for inspiration as he prepares to tell the story of Odysseus. The story begins ten years after the end of the Trojan War, the subject of the Iliad. All of the Greek heroes except Odysseus have returned home.” The subject of the war was of the lliad.

It was a war between the Greeks and the people of Troy and began because the Trojan prince Paris abducted Helen, wife of Menelaus of Sparta. The Trojan war reflected a real war between the invading Greeks and the people of troas. For nine years the Greeks attacked and destroyed Troy's cities

Who were major players in the war?

The major people involved in this war were Helen, Paris ,Achilles, Odysseus, Menelaus, Agamemnon, Calchas, Palamedes, Nestor, Hector and Turnus. There were more Greeks than there were Trojans.

How does the odyssey relate to it ?

In Greek mythology, the Trojan War was waged against the city of Troy by the Achaeans (Greeks) after Paris of Troy took Helen from her husband Menelaus, king of Sparta.
