Water is an essential for any life to survive because of its properties, which include polarity, cohesion, and adhesion.


Water is a Polar molecule. It is composed of one oxygen atom and two hydrogen atoms.

Cohesion and Adhesion

Cohesion is water's property that allows water molecules to bond with other water molecules. Adhesion is water's property that allows hwater molecules to stick to surfaces.

Water sticking to these leaves is an example of adhesion.
