2016 Last Quarter Stories AND MORE

NOVEMBER Stories:

STAFF SUMMIT

We had our annual Staff Summit. It was a time for all of our campus missionaries to be equipped, to connect with each other and to hear God about His direction for our campus ministry. Our theme was OLD and NEW.

OLD pertained to His works of faithfulness in the lives of our staff and campus ministry through the years. Gratitude and amazement filled our hearts as we remember how God moved in and through us. NEW pertained to what He is about to do this year and the years to come that will surely surpass everything that He did from of old.

One of the highlights for the 2016 Staff Summit was the presence of fifty-four (54) International and Cross-cultural Campus Missionaries

Left: Meeting with the Campus Directors of China, Japan, Melbourne and Johannesberg, South Africa on how we can better collaborate and serve each nation. Right: Campus Missionaries from all over Asia were trained as spiritual, relational and organisational leaders.
Our China Team got the award for Leadership Development. They were able to raise up a lot of new leaders for the past year.

first quarter of 2017

After twenty (20) years of reaching out to the students in U-belt, I have been given the opportunity to minister to my own Alma Mater- University of the Philippines, Diliman. This February, Victory Katipunan will be my local church and UP will be my new campus assignment when I am in Manila.

Sent off in the monthly meeting of our student leaders. Standing with me were (from left) Pastor Paul, our campus director in U-belt, Pastor CJ, our senior pastor, OJ and K-luv, long time friends and colleagues in the ministry.
CEU Students gave me a farewell party. It was encouraging to see them grow up into leadership.

In addition to my transition to Victory Katipunan, I will have a new assignment in Asia. I am task to do a consultation of our campus ministry in Singapore. The goal is to help train our student leaders and volunteers on campus outreach, discipleship and leadership development. We are believing God to bring the campus ministry to the next level. The plan is to stay there for 4 months but it will be one month at a time because of the visa situation.

Through the years and with all these transitions, I THANK God for giving me not only partners in the ministry but friends like you. I know that I will be able to fulfil God's mission in my life because I have a team mate in you. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP. I look forward to more years of us honouring God through campus ministry and missions.
