Desert Willow Elementary Learning for life and loving to learn April 21, 2021

Everyone should have received a message from our CCUSD Technology Department about online registration. If you're like me, you may have thought it was Spam because it was not obvious that it came from our district. Please take some time to complete your child's registration for the 2021-2022 school year. It is important for you to complete this as soon as possible so that we can accurately anticipate our need for teachers next year. If your child is not registered before May 1, we may not be able to place them on a class list for next year, and any requests you may have made will not be prioritized. We appreciate your diligence in helping us plan for next year. Thank you! (I have copied/pasted the entire email below my message here).

The Online Registration Information Update window has been opened for the 2021-22 school year. Please log into your Parent Portal account so you can fill out the information for next year and select your state required parental permissions. Included below are the instruction on how to access the online registration section in the parent portal.

Parent Portal Website: https://ic.ccusd93.org/campus/portal/parents/cavecreek.jsp

Online Registration can be reached by going to More -> Online Registration -> Existing Student Registration -> Begin Registration.

If you need help with your username or password, please reach out to Jill Machin for assistance.

Roadrunners are Respectful, Responsible, & Kind

This month, our school wide theme is empathy. We’ll be reminding students to have empathy, identify their own and others’ feelings, notice and respect the same and different feelings, and show compassion. When students can identify, understand, and respond in a caring way to how someone else is feeling, it helps create a positive and accepting school climate.

You can extend this idea at home by talking about your own feelings and modeling empathy for others.
