Isabel Greenstein Drawing & Painting 1

Pre-assessment

– FINAL PORTRAIT IMAGE COMING SOON –

Where do you see the most growth/improvement from your assessment to your final? What most surprises you? I see a ton of growth in my shading. Although I do remember that during my pre-assessment I didn’t have time to fully shade, I still believe that I have become much better at shading. I’m no longer afraid to shade things darker in order to get a full range of color to really show the depth of my subject!

When looking at your final portrait, in what areas do you still think you need to improve? I think I could improve my eyes still. I think my eyes end up looking very flat regardless of how I shade so I think I could definitely work on adding more depth.

When looking at both drawings, what are you most proud of? I think I’m most proud of the way I draw ears. I think it’s something a lot of people struggle with so it makes me proud that I can draw ears without much difficulty!
