Due: December 18th, 2016

How we teach our youth today is much different from our past. We need to use more modern innovative techniques using technology as a tool in order to maximize the educational experience for all students.

Gen Z are digital natives. As educators, let's use this to our advantage!

Some Educational Platforms to use in your classroom:

Nearpod

Haiku Deck

Emaze

Easly.ly

Piktochart

Canva

Adobe Spark Video

Explain Everything

Padlet

Tellagami

Shadow Puppet

Powtoon

Book Creator

Kahoot

Plickers

Quizizz

But this doesn't mean we will always use technology to be innovative. Methods in teaching are changing from the constant direct instruction approach toward allowing students take ownership in their learning experience.

Blended Instruction is often used currently to bridge the gap between educator and student allowing the student to succeed at own pace.
