We are so excited for the fall season at River Valley YTH! God has done amazing things this summer but we know that He isn't done working or moving and we are excited and expectant for how the Lord wants to show up in our lives this next school year!

YTH Covid-19 Protocol

We have carefully crafted a plan and implemented training that honors the guidelines of our state to the best of our ability. We are complying with the Governor’s mask mandate order but we are not policing it. There are several protected reasons some cannot wear masks and it is not our job to invade their privacy. GOD IS ABLE: September Series

We know that in ANY situation or circumstance GOD IS ABLE to show up in our lives in a miraculous way. In this series we will be talking about how God is able to: set free, redeem, heal, and speak. As Christ followers, we know this to be true, but sometimes we forget, or can start to doubt because of the situations we are walking through. In a time of uncertainty, we want students to be reminded of how POWERFUL God is, and that no matter what has happened in their lives, GOD IS STILL ABLE.

CAMPUS EVERYONE NIGHT

Every campus on Wednesday, September 16th will be having their very own Everyone Night! Make sure your student(s) and their friends come to be a part of it from 6:30PM-8:30PM! We are excited to launch the fall season by coming together with your campus YTH fam!

MYC 2020

Due to the COVID-19 MN max capacity guidelines of 250 people per room we are adjusting our plans for MYC2020. This year, we will be hosting a MYC One Day event at three of our River Valley locations. We believe that October 2020 is going to be a pivotal time frame for our students and youth ministry. Many of our students will need to be refreshed from all that they have walked through this year. We are poised to see God move in a FRESH way in our students at MYC2020! At this event, there will be two sessions and we are excited to announce that guest speaker, JJ Vasquez, will be joining us this year with a powerful word!

• PRICE: $25.00
• WHERE: Apple Valley Campus (with Eagan, Faribault & Woodbury students joining); Shakopee Campus (with Crosstown & Minnetrista students joining); Woodbury Campus (with Eagan students joining)
• What's Included In Your Registration: Dinner, and Late Night Activity

Minnetrista and Faribault students: Busing will be provided to Apple Valley and back from your campus, free of charge.

**COVID-19 guidelines require ALL in attendance to wear a mask while inside the building. Please bring one along with you!**

**Registration will go up to $30 with no t-shirt included on Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 at 11:59PM. Registration will completely close on Wednesday, October 7th at 11:59PM**

See You At The Pole: September 23rd, 2020

See You At The Pole is a National Day of Student Prayer where students gather at their school's flagpole before school and pray and intercede for their school, teachers, community and our world. See below how to get in contact with our River Valley YTH pastors for more details on SYATP.

25th Anniversary Celebration

September 26-27, 2020

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of River Valley Church, we invite you to mark your calendars for this special event! We want to celebrate all the lives that have been touched as we continue our mission of leading people into authentic, life-changing relationships with Jesus Christ. Help us celebrate all God is doing, has done, and is preparing to do in our very own church community.

In-person weekend service times and capacities remain the same, with a special 25th Anniversary Celebration service. River Valley Online service will also celebrate the 25th Anniversary of River Valley Church.

Parent Assessment

The NextGen team at River Valley Church cares not only for the students in our ministry, but the entire family unit. We created a brief questionnaire which will help us understand how parents and children are coping with the challenges of 2020. Please take a moment to respond.

**At Crosstown YTH, we have a couple things we want you to be aware of. Pastor Kelly and her husband welcomed a new baby girl this summer and she is currently on maternity leave! She will be back in mid-October. Secondly, Pastor Drake is transitioning out of YTH and will be beginning an exciting new chapter of outreach in Minneapolis. We are grateful for Pastor Drake and his family and are cheering them on as they go out. With that, we are excited to welcome Tyler Geraghty to the Crosstown YTH family!**
