Best in Show #1 2014: M. Whipplesmith Plank - Etna, CA "Walking The Upper Pasture"

The Merced County Arts Council is now accepting entries for its 11th Annual California Centered: Printmaking Exhibition. This will be held at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center, which features multiple galleries for contemporary visual arts. This 28,000 sq. ft. interdisciplinary fine arts and education facility is located in downtown Merced, California.

The purpose of this juried group show is to highlight and exhibit the best in recent California printmaking. The show is open to all print makers residing in California. Work may be in any traditional printmaking media (except photography) and must have been completed in the last three years.

Of the artists chosen to participate there will be three best in show awards given, recipients of which will each be given a solo show during next year’s exhibition.
