All clubs start next week apart from Tyrone Mings which starts tonight.

Computing, Lego and Creative Arts were all oversubscribed. A separate email has been sent to those parents about these clubs.

Reception Children

On Monday 16th September a photographer from the Gazette & Herald will be coming into school to take a class photo of all of the reception children for their "First Day at School" Supplement. If you do not want your child to be in the photo, please see the class teacher.



We have 2 vacancies for MDSAs. (Mid Day Supervisor) to join our lunchtime team. You will be jointly responsible for providing lunchtime supervision both in the hall and outside, setting up tables and chairs in the hall and administering basic first aid treatment as and when required.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 11.45 - 1.00, the days are flexible and we are happy to accept applications from people wishing to work 2, 3 ,4 or 5 days a week.

Parents of children due to start primary school and parents of year 6 pupils need to apply for primary and secondary school spaces. Please see the school website for further details.


Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the FOMPS AGM on Wednesday. Elections for new officers took place and we are pleased to announce that Lorna Friis will continue as chair, Becky Waite will continue as treasurer and Jo Parsons has taken on the role of secretary. I would like to thank Janine McClean for her briliant support over the last year, as she has stepped down as vice chair.

Thank you to those of you showing an interest in becoming a trustee and also to those stepping up to be on event sub-committees. Minutes of the meeting will be available on our web pages shortly. Our next meeting will now be on Thursday 3rd October at 8pm, Rivo Lounge.
