Chapter 8 Performance Task By: Oscar Mercado

Ratification is our Proclamation!

Ratification of this new Constitution will unite our quarreling states into a single republic.
Our Constitution calls for a strong central government. Don't be alarmed though, as the power of the government will be divided equally among three branches in order to make each branch equal in power. One branch will not become too powerful.
Ratification of this new Constitution will resolve the weaknesses and conflicts from the Articles of Confederation.
Finally, under this new Constitution, the powers given to the government is limited in order to preserve our rights.
