Most of the world today lives in constant fear of the thought of failure. Many of us don't achieve our goals because we always think of fear or failure will beat us and that if we don't try achieving it, we won't be covered by failure. In the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, it says "Don't give into your fears. If you do you wont be able to talk to your heart". If we let fear overcome us, we wont be able to follow our goals or personal legend.
We need to become more motivated to do stuff. We can't just sit on our butts and expect things to get done. Coelho says, "People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel they don't deserve them, or that we are unable to achieve them". If you just think that you can't accomplish anything, you wont be motivated to do it.
Putting work into thought is the next phase of accomplishing something. Once you started working, keep on pushing and don't stop, cause one you stop everything around you will become better than you. In the book it states,“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”When we something stops the whole world doesn't pause, it keeps going, and everything becomes better by the minute.
But sometimes there are obstacles that get in our way, such as a loved one or an event. These distractions get in our way and make us not accomplish our personal legend.“Maktub,” she said. “If I am really part of your dream, you’ll come back one day.” If you love something, you need to kmow how to let it go. The saying is that if you love something and it doesn't come back leave it, but if it does, keep it. That's how it is, if it loves you back you can always come back to it.
When you do these things you gain experience, the more you do something the more you know about it. Coelho writes,“There is only one way to learn. It's through action. Everything you need to know you have learned through your journey.”As you go to accomplish your dream obstacles will be in the way, but you already have learned what to do. It's like a video game as you go up through levels they become harder, you need to know a strategy. So when you get to the last level you already know what to do because of the past experiences.
