Polar bears are the world's largest carnivores. Polar bears have about 2 to 4 inches of fat to help them float in water, and to insulate in the freezing air.The female bears might if the air is cold enough they will dig temporary holes for some shelter from the freezing winds and snow.

What are some adaptations of polar bears?

On polar bears wide paws there are small bumps to insure the bear will not slip into the ice and they can have a good grip on the slush and slippery ice.

Another adaptation is, there white fur helps them to disguise and or camouflage in the icy white world. Also sharp claws and teeth for eating their prey. But how do zoos get the polar bears? Let’s find out.

HOW DO ZOOS GET POLAR BEARS?

The zoos often trade around the animals to always have new attractions. But how do the other zoos get the animals, is the question you're now asking. The zoos send crews of people to go and rescue endangered hurt and sick animals the test for other sickness then treat them and the are safe to be released or traded. If the animal is endangered they will trade to a zoo or keep if the animal and try to breed more to at least get a few in the zoo to save the species.

SOME POLAR BEARS IN ZOOS!

Get to know these bears!

According to Anthony Douglas Williams, from Inside the Divine Patterns, “To survive today, other animals must endure global warming, pollution and fewer habitats.More tragically, they must endure the silence of human hearts.” This means that the animals already have enough problem to face and they don’t need to be in zoos and be sad, they should be free while they live yet so many are put in zoos. Mostly endangered animals like polar bears.

THE LAST ZOO IS THE SADDEST ZOO IN THE WORLD!!!!!

In the Grandview Aquarium in Guangzhou China, the zoo was opened in the mall. The zoo was shortly named “The saddest zoo in the world.” because of the poor care, neglect, and the lack of natural light. Spectators observe that the animals display signs of “Zoonosis” which means “Any disease of animal communication with humans.” A solution to the problem of sad animals, would be to boycott the Zoo/Mall.

Dave Neale, Animal Welfare Director, Animals of Asia says:

“The list of what a polar bear needs is very long-to a point whereby you can only really answer that a polar bear really needs is to be free to live life in the wild.”This means that Polar bear need to be free and can not be happy in zoos therefore they should not be in zoos!
