Robert E. Lee Seamus Q

Robert E. Lee was a general for the Confederate Army. He also was one of the generals in the Civil War. He was a good general and a great fighter. He was one of the best generals for the Confederacy.

Lee was born January 19, 1807 in Stafford Hall, Virginia, on a cold winter day. His parents were from wealthy families. He had eight brothers. When he was little his dad made a BAD bet and lost the family's money. Then his dad left when he was six and never came back. Little is known of his childhood education. He Went to United States Military Academy and had a great education.

I chose this topic because I think he was a good man. I also thought he is a great general because he was trustworthy and significant.
