Recognizing Student Volunteers

Nutrition and Health Sciences students are seen as some of the most dedicated and hard-working students at our University. These students are known for taking advantage of every opportunity that comes their way, whether it is in the classroom, through internships or networking events. This attitude allows our students to improve their skills, build their résumés and make invaluable connections to professionals in the industry. In addition to this, our Nutrition and Health Sciences students are also active in giving back to the community through volunteering. These volunteering opportunities allow students to embrace their surroundings and engage in fulfilling activities that help improve their community. At this time, The Nutrition and Health Sciences Department would like to thank the following individuals for their efforts in helping our community:

The following students provided a great deal of time and effort to ensure Dr. Amir’s Food Science Dairy Lab ran efficiently:

  • Ameerah Stewart
  • India Washington
  • Sydney Mitcheltree

The following students assisted Dr. Christaldi throughout the semester:

  • Blake Bittle
  • Amanda Brems
  • Kristy Druding

If your name is not listed above, on behalf of the University, Nutrition and Health Sciences Department, and the greater community, we would like to thank you for all of your efforts.
