Museum of Natural History

I found the native American exhibit at the museum to be the most interesting. I learned how truly connected the Calusa tribe had been with nature. I believe that even in our society in the 21st century, we too can be just as connected if we choose to be. The model of the Calusa village was the most interesting aspect of this exhibit as it places you in their society.

The recycling exhibit taught a lot when it comes to ethics. It showed me how one can live in their home with limited negative impact on the environment.

The museum helps us step out of our everyday lives by presenting us with what nature has created both in the past and in the present. It shows us that the world was not created for us, we are only a small part of it. The Mammoth skeleton helps us to see how magnificent nature can be.
