How They Met
We met in the fall of 2007 at an interest meeting for a Medical Mission Trip to Nias, Indonesia. For the remainder of the semester, we met with the group weekly to prepare for the trip and spent some time hanging out outside of the meetings. The following Spring we were Organic Chemistry lab partners and continued to spend time with each other during Nias group meetings.
In June 2008, we spent a month working with TEARS International in Nias, Indonesia. During the trip we spent hours working together in the pharmacy preparing and handing out medication. During this time Jordan admitted that he liked Audrey but she had been completely oblivious.
Because of the culture in Indonesia, the normal "dating" period was anything but normal. In Indonesia men and women do not touch in public and do not spend time together outside of groups. Because of this, the only time we were able to have private discussions was on the beach outside our bungalow after everyone else called it a night. Even that got us in trouble a few times including one night a group of drunk locals began throwing sticks at us.
Well Wishes For The Couple
