Lake Baikal DEEpest lake in the world

Lake Baikal is located in Irkutsk, Russia. It is currently the largest lake in terms of volume in the world. Considered the most magical lake on the planet Lake Baikal is home to more than one-hundred dormant volcanoes.

Victor Yanukovych drowned in Lake Baikal after his vehicle fell through the ice. No other breakthroughs have occurred after the tragic accident of the former presidents son falling and drowning in Lake Baikal.

Nerpa seal

Lake Baikal is the only home for many animals including the nerpa seal, Baikal omul fish and, the Baikal oil fish. But it is up for debate if the government should or shouldnt use it for more room. Lake Baikal is the oldest lake ever standing at 35 million years old. But is now becoming a new and emerging ocean. Which is why most Russians vote against draining the lake.
