We Talk About death

In this chapter Morrie and mitch have a talk about how death is supposed to be thought of and how not to have any thought of how scary dying should be. Morrie tells mitch "Once you learn to die you learn to live" as we as "We don't really experience the world fully , because we're half-asleep doing things we automatically think we have to do".(Page 82)

Mitch says that "He was making sure that i absorbed the point, without embarrassing me by asking it. It was part of what made him a good teacher. . ." (page 82)

The black rose symbol to death. It is beautiful like life is to Morrie but after time we have to prepare ourselves to die. Like Morrie said in page 82 "once you learn to die you learn to live." this is like the rose , it grows just like we grow in life but the rose knows that its going to age and die over time just like Morrie was explaining to mitch about how we should live life.

The message that the readers can take away from this chapter is what Morrie told mitch during the conversation about how to look a death. Morrie said "most of us walk around as if we were sleepwalking. We really dont experience the world fully because we're half asleep, doing things we automatically think we have to do".(page 83)what we can learn from this is for us as people that are still living we should live life as the fullest extent with no doubts worries.
