Do you want to start using technology in your classes but don’t know how to get started? I can help you. I have designed a series of carefully selected hands-on workshops designed to help you spark your lessons with the use of very simple FREE online tools. From a 4-hour workshop to a two week intensive course, the main aim of these workshops is to show the teacher how with very little effort they can transform their classes.
The workshops focus on the practical application of free online digital tools for teaching and learning languages with lots of practical examples of their real application in the classroom. A selection of workshops to acquire the digital skills needed to transform our classes and bring dynamism and variety to our classroom activities.
The workshops are designed to help participants acquire the digital competencies needed to drastically transform the way they teach and, and more importantly, how their students learn.
All the workshops follow the same structure.
Ideally each workshop has two parts:
- Part 1: dedicated to showing participants how the tools work , followed by brainstorming and practical, classroom-tested ideas.
- Part 2: participants will practise using these tools through guided exercises creating activities for their own classes
After participating in the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Use confidently different tools and for different purposes
- Find creative and constructive ways to integrate technology into their classes, modernising them
- Design their own activities using free online tools
- Increase student engagement and energize and recharge their classes stepping away from the book
- Turn students into content creators
