The first assignment was to take outdoor photos using the benefit of strong available natural light on my subject. I learned that having adequate light will allow the camera to offer me a shutter speed and aperture that is appropriate for sharp, clear photographs. These are ten of my best from that assignment.

Red - Rule Of Thirds Photography

The next assignment was to take photos that included the point of interest as a red element. In addition, I was encouraged to attempt to compose the images by using the Rule of Thirds grid. I continued to take advantage of the strong available natural light so I could concentrate on the composition. I learned that having having the point of interest to a side or corner allows the image to be dynamic and allows for more space to include supporting details to the main subject. These are ten of my best from that assignment.
