Gathering for Worship on Sundays is of course the obvious time for coming together, but Church is so much more than Sunday. Throughout the week BCBC has various activities which aim to bring people together, and not just church people but gatherings for the whole community around us as well. Below you will find details of the different activities which take place on and off of the church grounds.
Social Activities
MONDAYS: MEET AND EAT - 12pm - 4pm
Have a bit of spare time on a Monday afternoon you want to fill? If yes then Meet and Eat is for you! Its an opportunity to get together with other people, to chat, to play games (dominoes and snooker are always on), or whatever takes your fancy (within reason of course). At the moment there's a subscription fee of £1 to help cover our costs.
Whilst we are sorting out our catering facilities - which we hope to do in the near future - then it's a 'Bring and Share Affair'. Bring something for the table, what you can afford is fine, simple or fancy (but not needing to be cooked), and if you can't afford anything that's ok too, but be fair with the share is all we ask. Once the kitchen is sorted, well who knows what wonders we might manage!
TUESDAYS: STAY & PLAY - 10.30am - 12.30pm

TUESDAYS: COFFEE POT DROP-IN 11am - 1.30pm
Enjoy a hot or cold drink, and simple snacks at our weekly drop-in (charges apply). A warm welcome awaits you, conversation flows, and it's always good company. The Coffee Pot also serves in the Stay and Play room.
G2G's as we call them are small groups which meet in various venues, sometimes people's homes.
WEDNESDAYS: BBGA KIDS CLUB 4PM - 5.30PM
For ages 5 - 11 this club is a fantastic opportunity to make friends, let off steam, and spend time in a positive environment. With games, crafts, talks, parties, and even more activities there is a lot going on. The club is open to all children, however there is always some light Christian content in every session. Snacks and drinks are provided. £1.50 per session subscription.
MID-WEEK WORSHIP
TUESDAYS: AFTERNOON FELLOWSHIP - 2.30pm - 4pm
Worship isn't just for Sundays, and on a Tuesday there's another opportunity, as well as space for sharing life together, praying for each other and other concerns, and a short talk. There's a regular guest speaker, but also weekly opportunity for anyone to share something about God and their experience of faith, or a reading from a book. The whole thing is wrapped up in the most appropriate way - after a prayer of course - with a cuppa and a biscuit.
GROWING TOGETHER GROUPS - Tuesday 10.30am / Wednesday 7.30pm
Meeting in various venues, from the church coffee lounge to people's homes, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith, understanding and relationship. The groups are always kept small to allow a closeness of relationship to grow. Gathering around Scripture, sharing together about faith, supporting each other through care and prayer, this is a safe, nurturing environment appreciated by all who attend. (You will need to ask for more details if you wish to attend a meeting).
