Why is character important?

Character is important because it defines each person as an individual. Certain aspects of one's personality can portray him as having good character, such as: trustworthiness, respectfulness, being caring, citizenship, being responsible, and being fair. These characteristics are more likely to attract other people, so it is also important because having good character helps to build relationships with others. People are typically judged for their character, good or bad.

What does good character look like?

Good character looks like someone who is optimistic, responsible, respectful, and honest. Someone who often is in trouble and is untrustworthy would not portray good character. People who are fairly well-liked probably have good character, because others are attracted to those characteristics.
