ExtraCurricular Activites Why they are just as important as grade point average

Grade point average is not the only thing that can determine skills of students. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, teach students discipline and teamwork skills that they can take with them after they graduate high school.

Sports help build character, they help motivate the students, and they encourage the students to try their best.

Clubs also develop skills and can help determine a students capability without focusing on grade point average.

JROTC is an example of an extracurricular activity that students can be apart of. It helps build leadership skills, people skills, physical strength, discipline, and also helps the students appreciate the people who serve our country.

Extracurricular activities help students grow and can help them succeed in life.
