Winterim is unique to the Middle School. It provides our students with an opportunity to get outside the classroom and explore the world in which they live. It introduces students to enrichment activities, topics, and cultures outside the standard curriculum. Students choose their own course of study and discover new talents and passions. It's an opportunity to learn about themselves, their classmates, their teachers, and the communities in which they are immersed, both local and abroad.
"Whether it's overcoming fear on a high ropes course or making a connection with a child at Head Start, students develop skill sets they need to be successful in life." - Chris Tate, Middle School Dean
