Space Escape (paint, paint brush, paper, and patients)

Vincent Van Gogh was a very understated artist in his time. He created 2100 artworks including 860 oil paintings. Most of them were created in the last two years of his life. His bold colors and dramatic brush strokes drew attention to his work making him one of the most well known artists on Earth. He was considered a madman or a failure in his time, which was between 1853-1890. Towards the end of his life he had psychotic episodes and delusions. He committed suicide at age 37 because of mental illness and poverty.
