South Northants Community Responders are a group of local people trained by East Midlands Ambulance Service, who volunteer to respond to medical emergencies in their local community.
Community First Responders do not replace the Professional Emergency Services, but may be able to reach a patient quicker than the nearest available Ambulance due to being based locally; providing life saving intervention until the crew arrives on scene to take over.
We're always looking for local volunteers who would like to help in their community during their free time. YOU could make the real difference by saving a life.
South Northants Community Responders is a charity organisation. We receive no government or NHS funding and all the specialist medical equipment that we use is paid for by donations. If you would like to help but do not feel being a CFR is for you, there are other ways to help us out by becoming a Fund Raiser and helping us to raise awareness instead.
