Things happening this term:

We have some new babies and toddlers starting this term, please say hello to the new parents you see at drop off and welcome them to the family!

Wassail. We'll be learning about the ancient practise of wassailing. We'll thank our fruit frees, sing some songs and drive out the spirits with lots of banging of pots and pans to encourage a bumper harvest this year.

Valentine's Day. We'll be learning about love and kindness and making gifts and cards to take home.

Our theme this term is Insects. We'll be learning where they live, what the look like and looking after our own stick insects. We'll be looking at insect ID guides, drawing and painting and reading lots of insect story books like 'Billy's Beetle' and some lovely Shirley Hughes poetry.
