Marco Polo and the Silk Road

THE REOPENING OF THE SILK ROAD HELPED SPARK THE RENAISSANCE. THE SILK ROAD HELPED TRADE. IT HELPED TRADE BECAUSE IT WAS SAFE NO IT WAS EASY TO TRADE ON. BECAUSE THE MONGOLS AND MARCO POLO PROTECTED THE SILK ROAD FROM NOT BEING USED AGAIN. IN CONCLUSION MONGOLS AND MARCO POLO SAVED THE SILK ROAD.

Rediscovering the past (Greek and roman)

The classical art and the Renaissance both inflicted theimportance of humans and both created man like sculptures.

Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15 1452. At the age of 14 he moved in with his father and learned technical skills including metalworking, leather arts, carpentry, drawing, painting and sculpting.

This is about how he started off and it described the art on the chapel and the sculptures he created out of marble.

Johann Gutenberg Printing press

Johann Gutenberg developed a movable printing press. This printing press was single letters that that could be rearranged to print a whole page at once. The first book printed was the Bible in Latin in about 1455.

Renaissance Writing (William Shakespeare)

William Shakespeare's writing reflects humanism because he wanted to show that humans mattered."Ever since people have enjoyed the beauty of the standing of humanity. The following passage reflects the renaissance idea that each human being is important". (Holt 317). In conclusion William Shakespeare was influenced by humanism and showed it a lot in his plays.
