Welcome to the third installment of the John Hay Athletics weekly newsletter, "The Hive".
John Hay All Sport Season Passes are now on sale!! These passes will get you in to all John Hay *home* games for football, volleyball, wrestling, and basketball. Regular John Hay home games tickets are $5 for adults / at the door and $3 for student pre-sale.
These season passes are $20 for adults and $10 for students and will get you into EVERY home event.
You can purchase a season pass from Mr. Thornburg in Room 172 during his office hours. If these hours don't work, contact him personally to figure out how to obtain a pass.

Football (0-2) - Lost to Mansfield. The Hornets football team struggled again with penalties and getting moving on offense. They look to restart and rebound their season on Friday at 7pm at Clearview High School.
Volleyball (5-1) - The John Hay volleyball team remained undefeated in the conference with another 3-0 set win over rival Glenville. They plan to extend their undefeated conference record this week vs. Jane Addams and Bard.
Soccer (3-3) - (3-0 in conference) The John Hay Hornets were led to victory over Max Hayes, by senior Ibrahima Diop and junior Lughan Ross, with two goals each. Seniors Diego Cortez, and Allen Jones each added a goal, and junior Abbas Monther scored his first goal of the season.
Golf (4-0) - The golf team stayed undefeated with a 214-239 win over Max Hayes High School. They plan to continue their undefeated season this Tuesday vs. John Adams.
Boys Cross Country - On Wednesday the Boys cross country team won the Senate League meet with Diego Cortez finishing in 1st place overall and Isaiah Miller in 2nd overall. The Hornets also participated in a large non-conference invitational on Saturday morning where they placed 24th overall.

John Hay Merchandise
The John Hay Athletics spirit store is currently in the works. There will be products sold by AD Thornburg and the athletics department as well as an online shop. More details coming later this month.
Schedules
All fall sports schedules are now up to date and accurate on JohnHayHornets.com. Basketball and bowling schedules are also current. Other Winter and Spring sports will be updated when the conference schedules become available.
Final Forms & Eligibility
If you are not fully cleared in Final Forms you cannot participate in any athletic related activity (game, practice, etc.).
