November, 9, 1938: Violence against Jews broker out across Reich. The violence was set off by Germans who were angry about a German official that was assassinated in Paris by a Jewish teenager. The pogroms were deliberately organized and planned by a German propaganda minister and nazis. Hundreds and thousands of Jewish homes and businesses were destroyed.
