Mrs. Dummett has worked at Lone Mountain from the time it opened in 2002. Parents are expected to stay in a single file line along the outer curve of our Main Parking Lot when dropping off and/or picking up their child. Please remain courteous to all the other drivers by waiting patiently in line, please do not cut or skip the line. Please continue to pull forward to the far end of our drop off zone in the main parking lot, following the directions of the LMES staff members, this will help everyone ensure a quick and safe drop-off/pick-up. Please do not drop-off or pick-up your child from the inner circles of the Main Parking Lot. It is extremely unsafe for any student to use our crosswalk without their parent or guardian escorting them. Please escort your child when using the crosswalk in front of the school and/or when using the bridge to get to the overflow parking area.
New parents and first time visitors
New parents and first time visitors please be prepared to have your driver's license run through our Raptor System by our front office staff. The Raptor System instantly screens each and every visitor against the registered sex offender databases in all fifty states. The Raptor System ensures that accurate and reliable records are kept for every visitor that enters our school, each and every day. You will only need to produce your driver's license on the first visit. After the initial visit, you will be instructed to check-in at the Kiosk, located in the front office.

Dreambox and Achieve 3000 require the use of headphones. Would you please consider purchasing your child their own headphones that they can use at school? Headphones can be purchased at Target and/or Walmart. Please speak with your child's homeroom teacher if you have any questions.
DreamBox is a personalized math learning platform. This online system can be used at both home and school to provide differentiated math support to all students (K-6) at our school. This system does not replace the current GoMath curriculum, but provides our students with the opportunity to challenge themselves to meet the most rigorous of learning standards in math.
Achieve 3000 is a personalized literacy learning platform. This online system can be used at both home and school to provide differentiated literacy support to all students (K-6) at our school. This system will not replace the current Treasures or Journeys curriculum, but will provide our students with the opportunity to challenge themselves to meet the most rigorous of learning standards in literacy. Your child's teacher will be sending home more information in a few weeks about Achieve 3000, KidBiz/Smarty Ants, and how your child can access this great resource from both home and school.
