Park Ridge Soccer Club Founded in 1969

Hello Park Ridge Soccer families

In June Park Ridge Soccer Club will complete its 48th year of travel soccer within the Chicagoland area. Presently PRSC has more than 450 players on 36 teams ranging from Under 19 to Under 8. Including players in the House League, PRSC has the highest number of participants of any sport in Park Ridge.

One of the keys to PRSC's success has been its ability to field multiple teams at our youngest age groups. These teams, coached by our professional training staff, have been given a solid base of soccer learning that has led to successful teams at all age levels.

Our club curriculum is designed to promote age specific development. Our general philosophy for each age group takes into account learning theory that guides our approach to teaching.

U8-U10 Philosophy:

Our U8-U10 program is focused on technical development. We firmly believe that ball control and mastery are vital foundations for any player. Our players will be guided by knowledgeable coaches who will be focusing on developing good soccer habits. Players will learn 1 vs 1 dribbling moves and proper shooting technique. At these ages our priority is fun, attacking soccer. Our mission will be focused on maintaining proper skill development and establishing good playing habits.

If you feel your son or daughter would benefit from professional coaching in a more competitive environment please reach out to me for additional information about our program. In the meantime, please enjoy pictures of our players competing for PRSC and the biographies of our professional training staff.
