"But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." - John 4:14
Lomori Samuel, Church Member
"Lomori Samuel is my name and I am a South Sudanese from Yei Central Equatorial State. I have spent 1 year and 4 months in Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement. Our challenge here is availability of water for drinking, cooking and bathing. The water that is provided to the camp is being transported by lorries and poured in a stationed tank which is not enough for the people. Often the lorries can fail to transport the water to my block which means no water for us. Without water it is difficult to conduct church conferences, live a productive life, and feel safe about our future. But Fields of Life and East African Ministries brought this challenge to an end because they have drilled a borehole for my church. May God bless Fields of Life and East African Ministries."
Charity Kaku, Church Member
"My name is called Charity Kaku, I am 35 years old and I have lived in Bidi Bidi camp for 1 year and 4 months. There are lot of difficulties of getting water. I fetch water from a tank being filled by the water tank trucks and sometimes the truck drivers fail to bring water because the refugee camp is so large. This has been a real challenge that I and the community face. I have to line up for water and often end up coming home without water. Today the community and I are happy for the borehole that was drilled. We will no longer worry about getting water because of this new borehole. The entire community is so blessed by this borehole and we pray that may God bless East African Ministries and Feilds of Life. Thank you!"
