Shaquille O'neal was a center for the LSU basketball team in college and was a center in the NBA for 19 years. He was the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA Draft. Shaq played for the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Boston Celtics. Jackie MacMullen is an award winning author who writes mostly about athletes. She wrote for the Boston Globe for many years and is now writing for Sports Illustrated. She was a former division 1 basketball player at the University of New Hampshire. She is also sometimes on shows that air on the ESPN networks.

The setting of the book is about Shaquille O'Neal's life on and off the court. The book starts with Shaq's childhood, then to his colleges days, and then his life in the NBA.

The conflict in the book is Shaq overcoming tough situations on and off the court.

The book is about how Shaq lived his life on and off the court.

I liked the author's style of writing and also how she organized the different parts of the book.

I thought the book was great. I liked the story's that were in the book about the crazy things Shaq would do off the court. I also liked how you feel like Shaq is talking to you in some parts of the book. When you are reading the book you feel like you are in the game or with Shaq off the court.
