Ohlone College Baseball is a hard-working, process-driven, detailed-oriented, team-first program that seeks to develop every facet of each individual player (athlete, student, person), while preparing and aiding each of them for transfer to major 4-year universities, all while creating a positive culture that focuses on brotherhood, teamwork, and lifelong friendship.

Ohlone was also ranked #1 in all of California JUCO baseball by the JBB in 2020, cementing itself as one of the top destinations for top recruits.
CULTURE
Ohlone Baseball is about support, fun, brotherhood, teamwork, and accountability.
TEAMWORK
Ohlone College works HARD to excel on the field. Since 2014, Ohlone has had numerous players finish #1 in the state in major statistical categories; however, what's most impressive is when the "OC" does it as a TEAM! Ohlone has finished #1 (out of 88 teams) in the state in these major categories since 2014.
NOTE: Lou Pavolovich, editor of Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, noted that Ohlone College's 2017 feat, where it finished #1 in the state in hitting (.339), pitching (2.40), and fielding (.980), may be the ONLY time it's happened in college baseball history!
2014 Fielding Champion (.976 Fielding Pct)
2017 Fielding Champion (.980 Fielding Pct)
2017 Hitting Champion (.339 Batting Avg)
2017 Pitching Champion (2.40 Team ERA)
2018 Fielding Champion (.982 Fielding Pct)
2018 Pitching Champion (1.79 Team ERA)
2019 Fielding Champion (.980 Fielding Pct)
2020 Hitting Champion (.362 Batting Avg)
2022 Fielding Champion (.982 Fielding Pct)
Big Performances, Big Games, Big Wins
Ohlone has GREAT RESPECT for all the great teams, coaches, and players in Northern California -- which makes some of these feats even more impressive. Damian Stone’s walkoff blasts to win the Regional and Super Regional titles in 2022, Brett Tressen leading OC to 18-6 and 18-7 wins in the Super Regionals over Fresno City (2019). Brian Martinez's 10K performance on the road at Sac City (2018), Elias Bedolla's 10-inning complete game in the Super Regional on the road against Fresno City (2015), AJ Curtis hitting for the cycle (2018), Ryan Probst's 10th inning Regional walk-off against Cosumnes River (2017), or Brad Norton making another Gold Glove play -- Ohlone Baseball strives to perform BIG in BIG situations. We play with heart and energy — see below in the video!
PRIDE
Ohlone student-athletes take PRIDE in all that they do -- and they realize that playing baseball each day is not a RIGHT, it's a PRIVILEGE. Ohlone is a special program that works to DEVELOP players from the ground up -- pitchers and hitters can expect different programs to develop their individual skill sets needed to succeed and move on.
Facilities
The "OC" has a new $4.5 million field (built in 2017), a new coaches office, a new team room with oak lockers and personalized nameplates.
CAMPUS / LOCATION
Ohlone College is located in the foothills above Fremont, CA, in the prestigious Mission District. The campus sits equally in between the Silicon Valley and the gorgeous valleys of Pleasanton and Livermore.
The campus recently underwent a complete makeover, due to a $349 million bond that was passed around 2015. Ohlone College has added new athletic facilities, a new award-winning parking structure, and new academic core buildings.
The academic core houses offices, classrooms, labs, lecture halls, and more!
Ohlone Baseball is run like any NCAA Division I program and is designed to:
- get you better
- help you accomplish your goals
- give you a great education
- give you lifelong memories
