One extremely important part of our narrative that no longer exists today is having no day students and only borders as children of the Sacred Heart. The first 9 pupils who were enrolled at Kincoppal were all borders who came from numerous cultures and at the end of the week the numbers had doubled and continued to increase. This tradition was carried on for decades and no day students were enrolled at Kincoppal - Rose Bay. Day students were first admitted to the school in the 1960s and to the present day, we now have a broad range of both boarders and day students. Currently, Kincoppal has over 150 boarders from years 7-12 and 900-day student from Sophie’s Cottage to Year 12.
