Dietrich Bonheoffer went into the mission field because of the Nazi's and the time of the world.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer was completely against the Nazis.
He wrote "The Cost of Discipleship" which was written in 1937. It presented his thoughts on the neo-radical practices of Christianity in the background of the Nazi invasion of Germany.
As a legacy
He left behind a bunch of books for us to learn by.
