Ponies, White Pelicans, Egrets, Kiteboarders, and Freighter at Sunshine Skyway Bridge STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF

Dec 20, 2016. Tampa Bay offers plenty of water activity. On this overcast day at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge., the sun was fighting to break through the low grey clouds. Even so, the day was full of activity. CPonies were walking in the shallow water. White pelicans were resting far away from the humans. The egrets and ibis were busy foraging the beach at low tide. Across the way, the kiteboarders were catching the wind, which died when I arrived.

This ibis had a stick stuck between its partially webbed feet.

Heron is landing to walk in the shallow water.
