Alfred Adler would say that my determination to become an officer in the Navy comes from the inferiority complex. Adler would say that I spent most of my childhood feeling powerless, therefore, as an adult I will strive for more power.

Neo-Freudians believed that our personality is shaped in childhood. This pictures shows that, as a child, I was unamused and did not like to take pictures. As an eighteen year old, I am still not easily amused and I still do not like taking pictures that much.
