Kahoot! in 4B

In the week before the start of Christmas holidays we, of class 4B of the Dante Alighieri Primary School of Collemarino, Ancona, decided to celebrate in a special way.

During the week from 19th to 23rd December 2016, the teacher (Mrs. Laura Ciarmatori) has changed our weekly programme and we decided to spend most time of our lessons in the revision of our learning in subjects such as Italian, English and Geography that we are studying with her.

The teacher wanted to use a game tool to review and to make more exciting and involving the reinforcement of our learning that we achieved since December. Kahoot! is one of our favorite apps and so the choice was easy for her.

At work!

We had already used Kahoot! before and this app always brings lots of fun so we could even maintain the joyful atmosphere that we usually feel in the period leading up to Christmas.

What a concentration!

Kahoot is a game based platform that allows you to create questions with multiple choice answers in which you can add explanatory images and videos. Children with their device with the app installed on, get in the game simply typing a PIN and there is no need to create accounts and passwords!

Kahoot! recently also allows the opportunity to play team games with a final podium! The teacher has saved in her Google Drive the results of our game plays so that she can comfortably check them at home! Furthermore, the created Kahoots can be shared!

Maximum attention!

We matched Kahoot with our favourite game Mind Soccer! What fun!

We are enthusiastic!

Sooner or later everyone wins!

It was a great way to revise and to keep our brain trained! Sooner or later all the children were able to win or to get in the podium, so that no one felt excluded! It is a fantastic app and we will repeat this experience for sure in the following months!!!
