It is currently illegal in the uk but it is legal in switzerland. one question lots of people ask is " Do we have the right to liife or the right to die. Doctors or relatives have to go through a dilema of whether to help the patient perserve life versus help someone who is suffering.

Active euthanasia means that positive steps are take to end your life. You are given something on purpose to end your life eg. injections. Active euthanasia can be carried out by either a doctor or a relative.
Passive Euthanasia
Passive euthanasia where a person is not helpeded to die . Such people may got to hospice.
