Welcome to 3rd Grade Mrs. Kaddis

About Mrs. Kaddis

I am very excited to be your child's teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. I have been a Bay Vista parent, volunteer and substitute for over 16 years. I am thrilled to join the 3rd grade team this year. I look forward to partnering with you and your student for a successful 3rd grade year full of fun, exploration and learning.

I have lived in St. Petersburg for over 25 years and have 2 children. Samantha is a freshman this year at FSU and Christian is entering 9th grade at Osceola Fundamental High School. In addition, we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. They keep me busy! I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, traveling, exercising and reading. I can't wait to meet my students and learn about their interests and passions, too.

Summer Learning

This summer Pinellas County Schools is encouraging all students to continue working in the online computer based programs MyOn.com, i-Station, code and ST Math. Students can access these websites at home using their classroom passwords and user ids. In addition, you received a list of Sunshine State Books and other summer opportunities on a flyer with your child’s report card. I highly encourage students to start reading these books over the summer. Third grade expectations for the students are high. As your student enters third grade, he/she should be able to read for twenty or more minutes and should proficiently know their addition and subtraction facts.
