“One of the most important things in all sports is team bonding. If there’s no team chemistry, you can’t play well,” says Kenai, a running back, defensive back, and kicker for the varsity football team. The football team has volunteered in the community together to promote bonding.

All students fulfill community service requirements culminating in a self-directed Commitment to Service project, and like the Chargers football team, many go much further. Students volunteered more than 18,000 hours in the 2020-21 school year.
