Challenge: Company is implementing a new inventory software and needs to train store managers how perform specific inventory related functions. Training will be used for current and incoming managers.
Solution: 10 modules that will present the content, a video tutorial to show real applications, and an interactive simulation where learners can perform the tasks themselves in a controlled environment.
STORYTELLING // SALES TRAINING
Challenge: Following the launch of the Big 5 Sales Steps training, store managers requested follow - up training to help their employees remember the steps, as well as help them apply the steps in real life situations.
Solution: Scenario - based learning experiences that show learners how to apply what they learned in the sales steps training on the sales floor. The visual approach was to adopt a graphic novel style that would blend well with the story telling approach. There will be a series of five scenarios, assigned to the learner upon completion of the previous scenario.
VIDEO TRAINING // COMPLIANCE
Challenge 1: Create a Ladder Safety poster, no images or stock photos provided at this time.
Challenge 2: Create a Ladder Safety course from scratch. No budget, no actors, no existing content.
Solution: Consult with SME's for video content, then turn the original poster into an animated compliance video. No longer than 10 minutes, using the existing graphics created for the compliance poster. Module also includes a brief 5 question quiz to verify knowledge.
Challenge: Transform text heavy PDF learning materials into interactive and engaging E-Learning modules for different product groups at Big 5.
Solution: Modules will be self - paced, allowing the user to move freely throughout the course, but each section can only be completed after all slides have been viewed. Modules include learning interactions such as drag and drop, roll - over, and videos.
